In order to effectively prevent elevator accidents, strengthen elevator emergency rescue and disposal capabilities, ensure passenger safety when boarding and alighting elevators, and help firefighters improve their handling capabilities and scientific rescue levels in elevator emergency rescues.
Recently, Guangdong Fuji Elevator Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangdong Fuji Elevator) actively cooperated with the Hunan Provincial Fire Rescue Team to carry out elevator emergency rescue technical training for more than 20 grassroots commanders of the Hunan provincial fire rescue team at the Chenzhou training site.
This training adopted a combination of theoretical explanation and practical drills to teach fire rescue team members about elevator structure, rescue procedures and methods for elevator entrapment and other malfunctions.
During the theoretical lecture, Mr. Shi Yongjun, Manufacturing Operations Director of Guangdong Fuji Elevator, explained in detail to the fire rescue team members the elevator structure, safety protection devices, operating principles, and emergency rescue precautions.
Subsequently, technical personnel from Guangdong Fuji Elevator conducted technical demonstration teaching based on the internal elevator test tower,
demonstrating and teaching from six aspects: basic elevator troubleshooting, safe operation of machine room manual cranking, safe access to the car top, safe access to the pit, lifting structure principles, and emergency rescue operations.
Through intuitive personal experience, the operational ability of all trainees in actual rescue processes was strengthened.
With rapid economic development, the use of elevators is also growing rapidly. Elevator malfunctions and entrapment incidents occur from time to time. When an elevator entrapment occurs,
many passengers will directly contact the property management or elevator maintenance unit, while some passengers will directly call "119" to seek help from the fire department.
When firefighters arrive at the scene to carry out elevator rescue, due to lack of understanding of the elevator structure, they sometimes have to resort to methods such as "breaking the door to rescue" or "dismantling the door to save people", which not only affects rescue speed,
but may also damage elevator equipment and endanger the personal safety of rescuers and trapped persons. Therefore, it is very necessary to provide elevator emergency rescue training to fire rescue team members.
Through professional knowledge learning and practical operations, it will help further improve the scientificity and standardization of elevator emergency rescue by fire rescue team personnel,
enhance the combat capability of fire rescue teams in emergency rescues, ensure public safety and reduce property losses, and safeguard people's safe and comfortable lives.
